While details are sketchy right now, Black Westchester Magazine has been told a suspect has been arrested in the death of 13-year-old Shamoya McKenzie. He’s facing second degree murder charges, according to sources.
ABC Eyewitness News reported that police announced they had made an arrest in the fatal shooting of a 13-year-old basketball star who was struck in the head by a stray bullet while on her way home from practice on New Year’s Eve.
Sources tell BW the suspect in custody is David Hardy. Despite tips we have yet to confirm it was gang-related as we told.
