State Senator George Latimer, D-Rye, called PBP Radio, Sunday, to announce he will be running for Westchester County Executive. (listen to audio below) Latimer is seeking to unseat incumbent Republican Rob Astorino, who’s running for his third term.
Sen. Latimer was originally scheduled to appear live in the studio at the People Before Politics Radio Show, Sunday but got held up in Albany, advocating for Raise the Age in the State Budget. Democratic lawmakers in both houses refuse to vote on a final spending plan without the inclusion of raise the age.
Sen. Latimer, who born and raised in Mount Vernon‘s southside, rescheduled his appearance on PBP Radio for Sunday, May 21st.
